About Steven Buckmaster

A great value added finance department is based around talented engaged people, efficient processes, and elegant controls. Finance is way more than just numbers, reports and statements. Finance needs to engage, support and challenge all aspects within an organizationIn my career I’ve had the opportunity to travel North America and work with a diverse group of finance and operational leaders through acquisitions, implementations, process changes and just plain old day to day grind. I thrive on having the opportunity to keep my fingers on the pulse of a business, role up my sleeves and work with all facets of an organization to drive results. My career experience lies in working with publicly traded companies operating in multi-company, multi -currency manufacturing and service environments in both a parent and subsidiary capacities. Driving operational performance and bottom line improvement through internal data and operational reporting is one of my key talents. Digesting complex accounting scenarios and determining correct accounting treatment while keeping the interests of company, auditors and other stakeholders in mind is also a driver for my career interests and goals. Specialties: GAAP, IFRS, ICFR, Multi-Currency Translation and Consolidation, Inter/Intra-Company Transactions, Budgeting, Forecasting Models, Process Improvement, Administrative Efficiency, Inventory Control, ERP Systems, Implimentations, Acquisition Integrations and more!
