As at 1st April I have completed 14/15 exams (all first time passes) and 75% of the Practical Work Experience days towards the ACA. I am a highly motivated and driven professional with over 3 years of experience in Audit and Accounting. As an experienced KPMG auditor, I bring a unique combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and business knowledge to my role. I have a strong background in financial analysis, risk management, and accounting principles through my First-Class Accounting and Finance degree at the University of Surrey. My experience has taught me to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with clients, junior staff and senior managers in high pressure environments. I am highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, time management and teamwork. Some audits in my portfolio at KPMG include a US listed client with revenue of 1.4bn, a UK listed FTSE250 defence client with 450m revenue and a global restaurant chain with 1200 outlets and 1.1bn revenue. I also completed a 12-month industrial placement NATS, a leading provider of Air Traffic Control services across the UK, honing my skills in three different departments: Management Accounting, Business Analytics and Tax. As a dedicated and driven professional, I have a passion for making a positive impact in my community. My volunteering experience as Treasurer in my local church has honed my skills in financial management and provided me with a unique perspective on the importance of responsible stewardship of resources. My role has involved using Xero to extract and prepare the financial statements and developing budgets and forecasts to support the charity’s goals. I am committed to using my skills and experience to support causes that matter and make a real difference in people's lives. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my friends and family. I am a lifelong learner, and I believe in the power of education and continuous professional development to help people reach their full potential.
