About Steven Clarke

I am a Junior at the University of Tennessee, enrolled in the Haslam College of Business majoring in management, focusing on sales and sales management. I take time management very seriously, and complete tasks in a timely manner. I do not always know the answer to a problem right away, but I always find my way to the solution. My previous sales position I booked my own appointments and never missed one. I know my schedule and show up to the things I know I must be at. Another strength of mine would be the willingness to learn. I like to adapt my styles and feel that if I am willing to learn I pick up on things a lot faster. Some of my business interests include sales, and eventually working my way into sales management. This interests me because I know the potential of what a good sales team can do and have learned how to organize and manage a team in order to make sales. My experiences with sales have prepared me to pursue a career within a sales job. I have had several jobs but feel like I fit in best making sales. For example, I had to make my own appointments and did not miss any throughout my time at Cutco, as well as had an eighty percent success rate making sales to customers I had to find on my own. My career goal after college is to be part of a big company and manage a team that will be competitive with any surrounding competition.
