About Steven Clymer

I have always been a proton. You need at least one positively charged particle at the nucleus of a group to serve as its foundation. Although able to accomplish much as an individual, my ability to form cohesive bonds has allowed my teams to reach high levels of performance and accomplishment.Nothing meaningful can be started without support from the top of an organization. There can be no success without hard work from those at the bottom of an organization. In the middle, that is where the fighting happens. In security you need to win the fight for those in the middle. Without the support of those in the middle governance from above does not reach those below in a clear and meaningful way. Without victory in the middle, the energy of all those at the bottom is not efficiently guided to execute roles, manage risks, control outcomes or recover from adversity. Security is not something IT does.Security is an aggregate of all the actions and inaction undertaken by all members of an organization. For those that truly understand, security never reaches the status of job done but instead rides the highs while they last and tries to soften the lows when dark times come. Bis Bald!
