STEVEN T. COATES, Co-Founder Steven is a founding partner of NestEgg Solutions — an independent Insurance firm specializing in annuities, life insurance and income planning. Steven graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Business and Finance and earned his Master’s Degree from Florida International University. Steven entered the insurance industry with a large firm specializing in retirement strategies and products. He was responsible for overseeing the hiring, training, and day-to -day operations of 15-20 advisors. Seeking independence and a more direct impact in clients’ lives, Steven left to open NestEgg Solutions with partner, Phil Sisco in 2002. Steven is very active in local charities and fundraising efforts. He supports the U.S.O, the Girl Scouts of America, the Abilities Foundation, and the Canterbury School of Florida. Steven resides in St. Petersburg with his wife of 32 years, Susan. They have two children – a son, Justin, a Georgia Tech graduate and a daughter, Jennifer, who recently received her Master's degree in social work. When not enjoying time with his family, you can find Steven testing his luck on various golf courses or cheering on the Steelers — a tradition he began many years ago in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.
