About Steven Cobb

I enjoy being in a position where I am able to manage a project but still have opportunities to get my hands dirty. My program provides Energy Audits and Quality Control Inspections of energy retrofit work in residential hones. Energy auditing is a home inspection that identifies missed opportunities for energy savings. We assess the HVAC systems, measure insulation levels, track air movement to prevent infiltration, and evaluate moisture/mold/asbestos and other factors that can be a safety concern. The work we do saves our clients money and makes their home or business more comfortable and can improve the indoor air quality making the building healthier for it's inhabitants. On a larger scale, we are also helping to reduce our nations power consumption which reduces our dependence on fossil fuels and builds toward a better tomorrow. I very much enjoy piecing together the multitude of interacting factors that effect our desired outcomes and meeting the diverse rage of clients we serve. My experience is wide ranging. I have developed a strong understanding of many types of building systems and the way different components of a project interact. I have strong math and science skills and am a very analytical thinker. I enjoy bringing a new perspective to a conversation and love tackling a challenge.
