About Steven Cohen

I am avid traveler with my wife and I made my dream trip last year to Normandy. As I looked out into the water from the beach and closed my eyes I could picture and hear the soldiers arriving on the beach. My favorite place to travel is to Walt Disney World where I can forget about the world and be a child. I have run numerous half marathons, baseball is my favorite sport to watch and play a little basketball. I enjoy hanging out with my Golden Retriever Mandy. As the Chief of Cary Area EMS since 2001, I am responsible for all operations and financial aspects of the organization. I have been involved in EMS as a provider, administrator, and educator for 40 years. I work well with people and I have been told this is one of my strongest attributes. I have a strong background in training and accomplishing projects. I am the creator is the creator and host of Medic2Medic Podcast. Medic2Medic Podcast is for EMTs, Paramedics, EMS Leaders, and others who want to learn bout EMS. The podcast takes a look at the person to see how they got their start in Emergency Medical Services and their dedication to the EMS profession and helping others.
