About Steven Colburn

Co-owner and CEO of Wolf Creek Air Conditioning Co, Inc. since 2001. Providing service and installation of residential and commercial HVAC equipment in the greater Lake Livingston Texas area. Interested in electronics and mechanics since I was three. First real job during High School, worked after school at Southern Radio in the late '60s repairing and installing radios and color TV's. Studied and obtained my Amateur Radio license in 1972 and have been active in Amateur Radio holding a advanced class license. Still active in the Amateur Radio Emergency Services ARES. Learned air conditioning and refrigeration working summer jobs with a fellow Amateur Radio operator while going to U of H in Houston and completed HVAC certification program at San Jacinto College. Worked at ITT Mackay Marine, later Mackay Communications and Mackay Marine for 29 years servicing and providing service to the Merchant Marine industry worldwide. Including electronics, electrical, and all types of mechanical repairs and installations on commercial shipping vessels from 50 feet to 1,200 feet in length including offshore oil platforms and semisubmersibles. Managed a network of 13 service depots in the United States and developed a World Service network while working with the International Ship Electrical and Engineering Services (ISES) Association.
