About Steven Corbally

With over 30 years of investigative experience in criminal, civil investigations, I am a Senior Investigator at the Department of Defense Inspector General (DoD IG). I conduct complex and sensitive investigations into allegations of waste, fraud and abuse, involving senior DoD officials, and other special reviews as directed. I have a Doctor of Law degree (JD) and an expertise in the rules of evidence and criminal procedure, along with ethics, compliance, state, and federal laws. I am passionate about uncovering facts and evidence, conducting interviews and interrogations, and producing written reports and recommendations for appropriate corrective actions. I have an insatiable curiosity and ability to communicate ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. I have successfully identified and located crucial witnesses in remote areas of foreign countries, such as Ukraine, Crimea, Germany, England, Canada, and Dubai. I have a Top Secret Security Clearance, and speak conversational Russian. Most recently, I completed the Inspector General Investigations course at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. This intensive 2-week course covers CIGIE standards for criminal, civil, and administrative investigation and provides a thorough training in application and techniques.
