Prior to Steven Joining Tacoma Public School District as a Director of Operations for Human Resources he transitioned into the private sector in 2013 after serving this country for twenty-three years. He attained the rank of Sergeant Major (E-9), as a Leader in the Army, Steven served in a multiple array of assignments, from Instructor to Drill Sergeant to multiple Personnel Staff Senior Enlisted Leader positions. Steven graduated from Liberty University with a M.B.A with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Steven continues to hold his designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by diligently maintaining the high standards of education, experience and knowledge in Human Resources. Steven is an innovative and resourceful professional skilled in Human Resource Management, Learning & Development and Business Operations with extensive experience managing teams, change initiatives, product development, daily operations, strategic planning, financial performance, and high visibility projects. He is a exemplary leader, and utilizes strong communication, leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities to guide and engage teams to accomplish complex projects with exceptional results.
