About Steven Devoe
I graduated from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, with a degree in biochemistry in 2022. I have been living in Colorado for the last 3 years working predominantly laboratory jobs. Must recently, I worked in a micrbology lab specializing in growing and testing brewers yeast. Prior, I worked in pharmaceutical labs primarily testing for active compound potency. I am well trained in numerous laboratory skills including, HPLC, cell cultures, and data analysis. I have academic research experience in both biology and chemistry. Projects included peptide synthesis targeting quiescent E. coli for prevention of recurrent UTIs and PFOS developmental exposure on Drosophila Melanogaste, respectively. I also have outstanding customer service and communication skills through my years of restaurant and brewery work. I am currently looking for a new job as I move back to the New England area and am particularly interested in diving into the world of brewing.
