Background

About Steven Dillard

As an experienced educator, alumnus of Teach for America, and graduate of TNTP, I consistently engage or participate in communication training, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) training, professional developments on providing constructive feedback, and content data dives where I analyze, internalize, and annotate learning modules and student data to create learning plans as a guide for others to reference. I am an organized and efficient professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. A true people person that can work well under pressure on my own and within a team setting. For the past four years, I have served as an instructor in lower elementary. Currently, I serve as an upper elementary interventionist. Both roles have required me to be consistently organized, structured, and detailed with my work to limit misconceptions and miscalculations when communicating with colleagues, administration, and other educational stakeholders. I am a highly motivated, passionate, resourceful, flexible, and enthusiastic educator who loves being a part of making the learning experience enjoyable for all learners.
