By updating the way in which Shearman & Sterling tracks ongoing and expiring fee arrangements, I have saved the firm over $3.5M, primarily through ensuring important date milestones were met and supplying supplementary information for fee renegotiations which were favorable to our firm. Starting my career in financial data analytics, I am excited to enter the thrilling world of compliance, governance, and ethics. Now, more than ever, customers demand better from the companies they do business with. With consumers losing faith in various industries, the backbone of any business will be the ethical framework they're built around. Just as I have helped Shearman & Sterling and Ross by implementing long lasting processes through their non-billable inventory purge, which has caused an upwards of 6% increase in non-billable collections year-over-year, I aim to help build a strong, ethical foundation for my employer.
