About Steven Glasgow

I am the Deputy Head of Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Dubai. With the Head of School, I am responsible for leading over 50 academic staff, delivering to 2500 students: 50% of the campus student population. I am also an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management, lecturing, publishing and supervising in Leadership, Culture and Diversity Management. Prior to my current role, I was the Head of the Management department within Edinburgh Business School, introducing an extensive departmental restructure in response to rapid student and staff growth. Before that, I was director for Heriot-Watt Dubai's largest Undergraduate programme, the Bachelor of Business Administration. When based in Edinburgh, I received my PhD in Management from Heriot-Watt University. I have resided in Dubai for eight years with my wife, two children and Norfolk Terrier. In my spare time, I am an enthusiastic (although unsuccessful) golfer and amateur chef.
