WHAT I DO • Tutoring/Teaching/Presenting: I bring even the dullest material to life. • Problem Solving: I use my imagination and brainstorming prowess to generate solutions to problems and point out potential problems in any solution. • Supervision/Teambuilding: I motivate people to strive for the stars. • Writing/Editing: I create engaging written materials from taglines to articles and I’m a bloodhound for typos (except my own – I always put my own work before several sets of eyes before going to print). WHAT I’VE DONE • Teaching: over the past 20+ years, I have taught ongoing classes for students ranging from kindergarteners to elders in diverse settings, from the formal university and middle school classrooms to the classrooms without walls of educational teen trips in the U.S. and overseas. • Training: I’ve created and delivered hundreds of courses and workshops and programs, oh my! • Facilitation: I’ve overseen major organizational culture change, ensuring successful outcomes by actively involving community members in decision making processes. • Programmatic Innovation: I’ve imagined and realized programs to serve previously under- served populations, such as special needs students and under-engaged teens. • Marketing: I’ve directed and actively contributed to major rebranding efforts.
