Dean, Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine Former Assistant Dean and Chair of Campbell University’s medical school medical simulation education program, Founder of Professionalism and Leadership in the Medical Setting (PaLMS), designed specifically for medical students. 20 years of direct patient care, both outpatient and inpatient, newborns to elderly. Maintained Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics (1993, 2007, 2017, current via MOC) the American Board of Internal Medicine (1994, 2005, 2015, current via MOC), American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics (2020-2024 current via OCC) and the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (2020-2024, current via OCC). Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI). Completed work at the Center for Medical Simulation at Harvard's University. Medical Education of medical students as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine and currently full time as an Associate Professor of Clinical Science and Medical Director of the Clinical Evaluation Center (Simulation Medical Center) at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
