About Steven Hamerlinck

I am a Product Owner (PO) for Managed Security Services at Proximus NXT, a leading provider of telecommunication and ICT services in Belgium. With over 25 years of professional experience in IT Operations, IT Management, and Security-as-a-Service, I have a developed a clear business and client understanding with a keen focus on strategic planning, team collaboration, and target realization. The past 5 years I have immersed myself in the ML/AI world and follow the developments daily. My main topic of research and development is private AI based on local LLM's with enhanced security / privacy protections. As PO I own the E2E operations of all Managed Security Services, including customer-owned and Proximus-managed solutions across a wide variety of technologies and vendors. We provide Managed and on-demand support for our PXS-NXT customers that require our Cyber Security expertise. I am passionate about delivering high-quality services that exceed customer expectations and that add value to the organization and society. As a person, I would describe myself as energetic, driven, and analytical.
