Experienced mechanical engineer with over 20 years of accomplishment in product design, manufacturing development and sustaining production. Proven track records from electro-mechanical, pneumatic solutions for OEM machine manufacturers, to supporting the manufacturing of biomedical instruments, being an SME for the manufacturing of the femtosecond laser platform, and having successfully developed, built, and delivered projects involving bench-top, chemistry analyzing instruments, successfully executed new product development plan and the first in-human clinical study for implantable, vision corrective medical device, and having completed the full cycle of product development, DoE, DFM and production process for insulin delivery device. Played a key role in supporting the technical transfer of new products and processes to manufacturing, sustaining current production and supplier interface. Highly competent in regulatory compliance with strong focus on safety, efficacy and cross-functional collaboration, the use of SolidWorks, DraftSight, AutoCAD, Inventor, PDM, Windchill, and GD & T for product design and development, metrology, AS400, JD Edwards, QAD, MQ1 for ERP and record-keeping of engineering documents, and Minitab, MS Excel for statistical data analysis.
