I am a proven leader and problem solver transitioning from the U.S. Army while pursuing an M.S. in Data Science at the University of Notre Dame. My career has given me experience in leading teams, managing complex operations, and making data-driven decisions under pressure. With a background in IT, geospatial analysis, and strategic planning, I take a structured, results-driven approach to data science, analytics, and modeling. My primary focus is on predictive analytics, business intelligence, and optimization, with a deep interest in data modeling as a tool for enhancing decision-making. I enjoy building and refining models that identify patterns, optimize processes, and forecast outcomes, particularly in finance and business intelligence. Whether through statistical models, machine learning techniques, or optimization, I am passionate about structuring complex problems into data-driven frameworks. Beyond my military experience, I have worked on data-driven policy solutions. As a veterans policy intern at the National Alliance to End Homelessness, I developed policy recommendations aimed at improving housing access for homeless veterans. During my time at West Point, my research focused on identifying risks of homelessness and reducing homelessness rates using GIS-based spatial analysis. These experiences strengthened my ability to work with complex datasets, extract insights, and develop real-world solutions. I have taken on key leadership roles in both enlisted and officer capacities, leading teams, solving high-stakes challenges, and driving operational success. My ability to adapt, analyze, and lead in dynamic environments translates well into roles that require strong analytical and leadership skills. I bring expertise in Python, R, SQL, machine learning, statistical analysis, and spatial analytics and am eager to deepen my experience in forecasting, financial modeling, and optimization. My approach is mission-driven, strategic, and highly structured; I seek to fully understand a problem, break it down, and execute solutions with precision.
