CLARITY Telehealth "Bridging the Gap between Surgery and Mental Health" I co-founded CLARITY, a behavioral telehealth company, that delivers state-of-the-art telehealth mental health assessment and treatment to surgical patients. CLARITY provides evaluation and treatment to patients undergoing life-changing surgical procedures to improve the surgical outcomes and enhance the patient's quality of life both before and after surgery. In my role as CLARITY’s cofounder, board member and chief medical officer, I create scientific advisory boards of experts in surgical specialties and develop procedure specific behavioral assessments. Surgical areas include bariatric surgery, chronic pain, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and gender reassignment. I recruit and mentor nurse practitioners to work in behavioral telehealth and provide cutting-edge mental health services to surgical patients.
