About Steven Korkowsky
Born in 1987, I've been working in the customer support industry for almost 15 years (mostly at Sitel GmbH), first on the phone (Inbound), and starting in 2011 via Social Media. Even after leaving the "Customer Support" area I'm still very much a supporter at heart. In 2021, I embarked on a new path and have since been working as a Social Media Manager at GPORTAL (Ociris GmbH) combining my dedication and passion for Gaming, Customer Support and Social Media. Over the years, I've also been looking for more opportunities to work directly within the games industry alongside my main job. For instance, I had a short excursion as an Editor for Early Access Addicts (EAA). But by some lucky coincidence, my focus switched to localizing games (English -> German), which I've enjoyed doing for about 6 years now. My biggest passion is Gaming and everything around it. Gaming for me is much more than just a distraction after work. With Gaming I associate the possibility to make friends, express my feelings, develop my personality, experience technologies and much more.
