About Steven Lee Petersen

Steve grew up in the Northwest United States in the town of Medford, Oregon. He began his college education in the South Pacific at the University of Hawai’i Mānoa. From there he transferred to Arizona State University to the WP Carey School of Business where he received a Bachelors in Accountancy and a Masters in Taxation. Steve has been practicing tax since 2015 and has been an active CPA since 2019. His experience has assisted him in performing tasks such as guiding clients in the gathering of tax data in an efficient manner, promoting the best practices and procedures, managing business and individual tax return engagements for family offices, and developing quality client relationships and loyalty.Steve has been working with RSM since 2019 and has been serving clients in the Baltimore Metropolitan area since 2021. His passion in working with General and Subcontractors has given him the opportunity to work with the best of the Construction world in Arizona as well as Maryland. He looks to continue to grow in his knowledge and expertise with each new endeavor he applies himself to and is always there to do what is best for the profession, the client, and the firm.
