CAREER SUMMARY Throughout his 41 year career, incumbent has been instrumental in delivering positive sales and share of wallet growth through ground-breaking product introductions and product line extensions, innovative sales initiatives and various retention, service and incentive programs. • Managing the Business Checking Portfolio for PNC, including for the National Retail Expansion. • Rebuilding the Business Checking Product Line for National City (since acquired by PNC) • Nationalizing, Standardizing and Rebuilding the Consumer Checking product line for Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase) by introducing six new checking products, including a new Asset Management Account (Premier One), Free Checking with direct deposit and a redesigned Bank One at Work Checking product and complementary Bank One at Work Pay Card product, while improving service, reducing attrition, maximizing revenue ($2.2B) and profits ($1.0B+), converting seven legacy platforms to one (subsequently retained by Chase) and enhancing the statement, phone and online banking experience so that the product line that could be advertised as: Maximum Strength Checking. • Developing and Proving the Relationship Banking approach for First Union as part of a 12-banking center pilot running from the early to mid-1990s. • Pioneering PC-based ACH origination services with the launch of First Union’s ACH Manager Product in 1988–1991. • Rebuilding the core TM delivery systems for First Union including: Wholesale Lockbox, ACH and Wire from 1987-1991. • Revolutionizing the wholesale lockbox industry in 1985 with the development and introduction of Mellon Bank’s completely redesigned Nationwide Wholesale Lockbox Network. The approaches employed were similar in concept to those involved in the implementation of Check 21, nearly 19 years later.
