Awarded "Indigenous Business of the Year" from the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce for 2020. I am an Indigenous Ojibwe member of Garden River First Nation and life-long resident of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, exercising, reading, writing, cooking and I am self-taught musician. I am skilled in the areas of communications and public affairs, content creation, freelance writing, economic and business development, marketing and promotions, strategic planning, public speaking, relationship development and Indigenous business partnerships. I am passionate about working with businesses, communities and organizations to develop partnership opportunities that are sustainable and economically beneficial for all invested stakeholders on all levels from local, regional, provincial, national to international. I believe that all businesses have a duty to provide the best quality product and/or service possible to the customer and to give back to the local community with charitable efforts while respecting the natural resources that provide the economic means to prosper and thrive. Career Goals: Help build a thriving and sustainable Northern Canada through economic development, partnership building and strategic collaboration between Indigenous communities and corporate entities. Personal Goals: To always learn new things, be appreciative for today, live in the moment and truly believe that anything is possible. Educational Goals: To receive honourary Masters and PhD degrees in recognition of a job well done!
