About Steven McElwee

Steven McElwee of Harris County, Texas, began his career in 2002. He learned the fundamentals of home building business while studying architecture at the University of Houston. In 2007 I Graduated with a bachelor's of Architecture. Over 14 years, I have held executive positions with some of the nation’s largest and most successful Architecture and Construction companies while maintaining a passion for building. I started Foresight Custom Homes 2015 and created a 5400 sqft model home that I designed and built from scratch. After that, I designed and built another eight custom homes around the Lake Livingston area. Have such a deep passion for how homes are built, so I started working for other developers showing them how homes are built correctly. Currently have built over 156 homes in the greater Houston area and have remodeled over 45 homes. I started Houston Mold Guys LLC. in 2017 after hurricane Harvey hit our great city of Houston. I jumped to and dried out 45 homes that turned into remodels for Foresight Custom Homes. Currently have remediated hundreds of homes around the Houston area and four hospitals. Also, I do charity work when I can to help people that were affected by Hurricanes and Freezes in the Houston area. In 2021 started working on my real estate license, buying and selling homes for the public in the Houston Area and Lake Livingston Area. Currently have purchased and sold a number of homes in the greater Houston area. In 2023 I'm currently working on my Brokers License while I buy ugly homes and then fix them up and sell them to the public.
