About Steven McGee

I am a registered physical therapist working at two outpatient clinics part-time. I have extensive experience prescribing exercises to diverse patient populations. I integrate these experiences to provide my patients with a comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation program comprised of exercise, patient education, manual therapy, and soft tissue techniques, to assist them in returning to activity and achieving their goals. I am a motivated and dedicated physiotherapist with a relentless desire to learn. I routinely read clinically relevant articles and regularly practice my skills with colleagues. I have completed two continuing education courses thus far with plans to pursue all the manual therapy levels in the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. I also have interests in pursuing additional training in concussion treatment as I sustained several in my youth. When I am not working or reading I keep active by weight lifting, running, swimming, playing tennis, kayaking and hiking in all the wondrous nature that British Columbia has to offer. Most recently I have taken up ultimate frisbee and squash. After hearing the term "Motion is Lotion" in physiotherapy school, it has become my motto to live by to remain active and healthy.
