Steven is a Chartered Process Engineer with background experience in the consulting, design, research and sales areas. Through his involvement in various wastewater and water projects in both private and public sectors, Steven has developed an extensive project management and design expertise which equips him with the ability to achieve on-time project completion as well as anticipate issues and create systems that resolve concerns and improve efficiency. He is a result oriented and highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who enjoys and excels working both in a collaborative team and individually. As a process engineer, Steven has been involved in various aspects of engineering projects from planning studies, concept and detailed design, pilot trial operation, sampling and monitoring to project management, development of technical specifications, tender preparation, procurement support, commissioning and developing operation and maintenance documentation across different sectors including wastewater and water treatment, odour control facility, oil and gas, and mining projects. During his career, Steven has been involved in various concept and detailed design of water and wastewater treatment and pump station upgrade projects in Australia including Coolum Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Wollongong Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), Riverstone WRRF, Quakers Hill WRRF, St Marys WRRF, and Risdon Brook Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Aside from wastewater treatment, Steven has also been involved in various odour related projects including Inlet Works Odour Control Unit (OCU) upgrade for Wollongong WRRF, odour ventilation audit for Bondi WRRF, Malabar WRRF, and Gladstone Regional Council. In recent times, Steven has been leading the process detailed design development for the Inlet Works and Odour Control Unit upgrades at Wollongong WRRF for Sydney Water / D4C. Prior to this, Steven led the delivery of the process package for Coolum STP upgrade project which is aimed to assist the plant to service future growth within its catchment as well as to meet its environmental obligations.
