Currently with Lawrence Livermore national laboratory with a mission to enable U.S security and global stability and resilience by empowering multidisciplinary teams to pursue bold and innovative science and technology. Working within operations and business supporting weapons and complex integration/strategic deterrence directorate as a Sr environmental health & safety technologist. I oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health and Safety Technologists/Radiological Control Technicians within the RHWM radioactive hazardous waste management facility that supports nuclear operations including one of the only two defense plutonium research and development facilities in the country. Our mission as Hazards Control is to provide radiological assistance and support to programmatic work critical to National Security. Additionally, my role as lead RCT requires providing support and leadership in the areas of training and emergency response preparedness.
