About Steven Peacock

I have worked in the leisure industry my whole career, starting as a lifeguard part time, then full time soon after. I became a duty manager within a year at another site in which I thrived and valued being a part of the management team. I was part of fantastic team throughout my time there and dealing with day-to-day learning, tasks and development of our community. I throughly enjoyed my role and after the experience I gained, I looked for progression to be the Operations Manager of the leisure centre, which I was successful in obtaining the position. I spent 5 years in the role and loved every part of it. I will always be grateful to the people who have shown me the way and helped me develop myself to gain vital skills that made me who I am today. I loved helping the community I worked in and serving them in all their needs, during my time at the leisure centre. In the summer of 2022, I was successful in my interview and assessments for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service. I have always wanted to become a part of the different and bigger communities in Surrey and help people in this role. It has always been a career goal for me to work for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service as their vision and core values is what I always represent.
