About Steven Pearce

18 years of experience in the heavy civil industry, gaining knowledge through hands on management and education. I have worked in a wide variety of sectors of the heavy civil industry from; landfill construction, flood mitigation and management, infrastructure reconstruction, new subdivisions, highway construction, deep utility installation and repairs, in stream works, industrial and trench-less works. During my career as a superintendent I had the ability to take on special projects that needed high detail attention to get it across the finish line and someone with the ability to think outside of the box to get the work back on track and job completed. From managing 1 project, to multiple projects. I have learned how to use my resources and management team to keep projects on track and on budget. I take pride in my work and working with a team that strives for the best. Highly detailed work plans are the back bone of a good project and I excel at providing these plans for my projects and other co-workers projects, as they provide a road map of the steps and methods for keeping a project on track, as well as when to hold a project for further inspections or re-planning. These work plans help the entire team see the process of construction and what they are all working towards. It also gives the team the opportunity to provide input and suggestions which could benefit the project and overall outcome.
