About Steven Pearce

As Vice President, Infrastructure and Economic Development, Steven works closely with clients to help build a new facility and relocate existing operations, as well as navigate complex site selection and incentives negotiations processes. Previously, Steven served as the Chief Business Attraction Officer at Greater St. Louis Inc, overseeing all new business attraction initiatives for the bi-state metro area. Additional experience includes leading regional business recruitment efforts for the Charlotte metro and branding and promotion of the eastern region of NC. Throughout his 15 years of economic development experience, Steven has served in various roles including workforce development, marketing and communications, research, project management and business development, providing a well-rounded perspective on the various aspects of the industry. During his career, Steven has had the privilege to work with companies of all shapes and sizes, including notable examples, such as, Honeywell, Krispy Kreme, CompuCom, ServiceMac, and NN, Inc. In 2019, Steven was recognized as a Top 50 Economic Developer in North America. Steven holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor’s in Marketing from East Carolina University.
