About Steven Peters

Dr. Steven Peters is a licensed chiropractic physician in the state of California that specializes in Spinal correction and balance, sports injury rehabilitation, personal injury, acute trauma and soft tissue treatment. Dr. Peters obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with Dean’s list honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Dr. Peters recently had the privilege to work at CAP Alternative Therapy in Coto De Caza, learning under some of the most experienced therapist in sports rehabilitation. As part of this program, Dr. Peters became familiar with the epidemiology and mechanical factors of a wide array of sports injuries, and successful treatments that will take weeks off healing and recovery time. The main treatment was a new technology, Deep Muscle Stimulation (DMS), which addresses the treatment and healing of the muscles involved. During his preceptor programs with LACC and Mt. SAC, and associateship at Foudy Chiropractic, Dr. Peters mastered multiple chiropractic techniques and gained certification in Diversified, Cox Flexion and Traction, Activator Techniques. He furthered his experience in radiology and personal Injury care, working with attorneys and doctors to study the best ways to provide recovery for his patients. Dr. Peters uses a diversified chiropractic approach to his treatment, applying innovative research to quality procedures in order to provide the best care for his patients. Through Chiropractic adjustment techniques, treatment modalities, various muscle therapy techniques and DMS percussion therapy, Dr. Peters will help you attain optimum health and return to work or activity quickly. As a member of the American Chiropractic Association and California Chiropractic Association, Dr. Peters stays current and up to date with the profession and believes that research and practice is the key to quality care.
