Primary responsibilities:* Reviews claims and provides direction to TPA / carrier personnel and oversight of their claims management practices.* Ensure the claims assigned to claims staff are adequately reserved, that reserves are adjusted timely and appropriately based on the current support in the claim file.* Reviews the claim staff documentation of activities on pending cases in the RIMS system.* Reviews reporting requirements by TPA /carrier are met by the file handler.* Tracks and generate reports for a variety of metrics, such as lag time, pending, reserving, claim type, etc.* Provides the necessary direction to the claim handler to ensure that the file quality meets client service agreement.* Escalates any quality or handling issues to the attention of the claim management staff.Current & Active Insurance Licenses: Arizona Property & Casualty Adjuster License Florida - All Lines Insurance Adjuster License Indiana Property & Casualty Adjuster License Indiana Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License Minnesota Property & Casualty Adjuster License Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License South Carolina Property & Casualty Adjuster License South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Adjuster LicenseRisk Management Certifications:* ARM 54 - Risk Management Principles and Practices coursework and testing with The Institutes.* ARM 55 - Risk Assessment and Treatment coursework and testing with The Institutes. Multiple Jurisdiction experience including knowledge of state laws and regulation including workers’ compensation claims in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Utah. Additionally, act as a workers’ compensation liaison for monopolistic jurisdictions including Wyoming, and North Dakota.
