Whether it is working with the community organizations or working in the entertainment field, Steven has been leading teams for the last 25 years. Currently, Steven is the Chairman of the Lodi Community Action Team, and leads the Rigging Product Development group for Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc. Steven has been a Captain and President of the Lodi Area Fire Department, as well as, President of First Lutheran Church, Lodi. Steven's experience in the entertainment has spanned the industry from his early beginnings as a circus drummer to technical directing several televised live events. Along the way Steven has worked for many great acts and organizations such as Six Flags Productions, Gene Anne Ryan Productions. Mark Wilson Productions, Genesis, Paul McCartney, George Michael, and Elton John to name a few. In the late 80s and early 90s Steven owned and operated Stage Tech International, a live event production company providing technical services and production for such organizations as The Incredible Acrobats of Chine, The BBCs Best of Magic, and The Texas Cattleman's Ball. In addition, he worked with many up and coming acts of the time such as The Dixi Chicks and Lone Star, as well as, many established musicians such as Lee Greenwood, Ronnie Milsap, and Ringo Star. After several years touring for Vari-Lite Inc. Steven moved into product development managing teams to develop the next generation of automated Lighting. In 1998, Irideon, a division of Vari-Lite Inc. was purchased by Electronic Theatre Controls, Inc. Steven and his family moved to the Madison area where he continues to lead new product development of theatrical products.
