40+ years experience in either operations and/or maintenance in the aircraft fueling industry, mobile and/or fixed facilities (mostly military). Includes receiving, storing, laboratory analysis, mobile and hydrant distribution and the supervision and management thereof. Retired USAF POL and now contractor (since 2009). Has gained a particular proficiency in the maintenance, trouble-shooting, modification, and upgrade of hydraulic control valves in fueling systems and has written training programs on this subject. Has used these products to formally train military and commercial maintainers at 25 sites. 12+ years experience as a mechanical subcontractor performing DLA's HFAM Program (Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance) maintaining the performance of military Type Type IV, and Type V hydrant systems. Assessed, found, and corrected deficiencies as discovered under this program. Since its conception in 2012, has personally solved 800+ hydraulic problems in these systems. Has written technical papers on subjects such as "Thermal Expansion and Contraction in Fueling Systems" and "Explanation of Nozzle Pressure" whereas his material was published in DoD circulars relating to these subjects.
