About Steven Schmidt

I attended Kennesaw State University in 2014 and have been working at Delta Air Lines since 2017. I started as a Senior Operational Scheduler, overseeing flight attendant trip coverage and ensuring proper staffing on all aircraft. In 2019, I became an Acting Operational Supervisor, managing up to 13 direct reports and boosting long-term business success and profit levels. In 2021, I was promoted to Pilot Scheduling Supervisor, where I currently oversee pilot trip coverage on all Delta flights and administer the Pilot Working Agreement. In my roles at Delta, I have developed and demonstrated strong problem solving, interpersonal, and team building skills. I have communicated professionally and effectively with field leadership, crew members, and administrative personnel, handling complex problems and issues requiring judgment and interpretation. I have also worked in a matrix management environment, partnering with division level managers, operations and human resources. I am passionate about delivering a high level of customer service to the internal and external customers, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to any team and can be an important asset while focusing on specific agendas.
