I am an experienced director with more than 25 years of experience in multiple industries, spanning hospitality and retail. I have worked and lived in the United States, South Korea and Australia which has given me a broader perspective on life and business and I have had success in very challenging environments, strengthening my leadership and managerial skills. Throughout diverse career experiences I have developed a transformational leadership style. This has delivered financial performance (revenue, profit, cash flow, valuation increases) through an ability to get the most out of teams by establishing trust and respect, encouraging rapid development and talent within individuals. I work alongside my teams as an example of the high levels expected in the delivery of KPIs and goals. By establishing a clear understanding of team members’ core values and identity, it allows for a positive bond to form. I am genuinely interested in each team member for who they are and what they can provide to the team as well as how I can contribute to their professional growth. Through clear communication and a vision that everyone can understand I lead teams in a direction that utilises their skills and gains their support. The commitment achieved through this approach has enhanced value in property asset management, transactions and retail assets generally.
