About Steven Sherman

I am a driven MASc graduate of the chemical engineering program at the University of Waterloo, one of Canada's top engineering schools. I am passionate about environmental and resource issues, and I am committed to applying myself towards solving these problems. My interests are diverse and include energy storage, microgrids, renewable energy, public policy, sustainable infrastructure and housing, and carbon capture, as well as difficult-to-decarbonize economic sectors. I eagerly tackle important and complex problems; I excel at making carefully constructed plans and then executing them. Given responsibility, I strive to complete assignments quickly and independently. I work well in a team and present my own ideas in the context of what the group is attempting to achieve. I find working with highly skilled professionals to be highly rewarding.
