I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), licensed and board certified Acupuncturist in the state of Colorado, Utah and Florida. In addition, I specialized in Oncology, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and traumatic stress. Additional training in Public Health, Disaster Mental Health, and Cancer exercise. Have held numerous Colorado Hospital priviledges and an authorized VA provider. I am a certified Wilderness First Responder/Instructor. I have an extensive background in western/eastern nutritional therapies for the prevention and recovery from disease. My passion and practice includes integrative acupuncture, nutrition, pain management, auricular acupuncture therapy, injection therapy (biopuncture), disaster response, disaster mental health, PTSD, traumatic stress, Veteran's care, and working in the Emergency Response Network with First Responders (EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, Dispatch, and SAR). I am a yoga, taichi & qigong instructor, functional/tactical movement & neuromuscular training specialist, TCM Sports Medicine and performance practitioner. I integrate TuiNa (Chinese Medical Massage), Asian Bodywork, Cupping, Moxabustion, Functional Movement, and Taichi/Qigong/Yoga into my treatment protocols and practices.
