About Steven Susman

Steve launched his career at Supreme Security Systems in 1983 as an Alarm Monitoring Center operator. As the industry adopted automation, he transitioned to information technology where he eventually managed all aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure, advised sales and project management staff on the design of integrated security solutions, and provided the senior management team with strategic recommendations on product selection. In addition. Steven has stepped in on an emergent basis to manage the alarm monitoring center and also managed Supreme's Engineered Systems Group which designed, installed and serviced enterprise class integrated security solutions. He believes in setting the bar high and inspiring success in a positive atmosphere of mentorship. In December, 2021 Supreme Security Systems became part of Securitas Electronic Security. After completing the integration of Supreme's IT infrastructure into Securitas and coordinating the closure of Supreme's headquarters, Steven joined Affiliated Monitoring where he oversees and facilitates projects in Infosec, Information Technology and event monitoring. Steven currently holds ISC2 CISSP credentials, MCSE certification from Microsoft with specializations in both messaging and security, as well as the Cisco CCNA and Information Security Specialist titles. He is also CompTia A+, N+ and S+ certified. In 2009, Steven completed his BA in Psychology from Thomas Edison State College. Steven is a former paramedic and has volunteered in EMS for over forty years serving as Captain, Training Officer and President of a local rescue squad.
