Seasoned executive with over 35 years’ experience running and consulting to global businesses. Steven is viewed as a passionate leader who rolls up his sleeves and “just gets things done”, able to manage a great deal of complexity simultaneously. He has lived and worked in San Francisco, Boston, London, Warsaw, Moscow, Tokyo, New Delhi, Brussels and Amsterdam. In a world where people increasingly jump from company to company, Steven has spent his entire career helping to build Bain & Company, the international management consultancy. From to 2019, Steven served as Head of Global Operations (Chief Operations and Sustainability Officer) and, during this time, was a member of the Global Operating Committee, the firm's leadership team. He reported to four consecutive Worldwide Managing Partners, managed a team of over staff with an annual budget of $150M+ USD. During the time that Steven served as a member of the firm’s leadership team, Bain grew 4x, averaging over 10% growth per year, staff grew by 5x, and offices expanded globally from 24 to 65 locations.
