I am the Group Contracts Manager at Adapt IT, with 20 years of experience in contract management, business intelligence, and consulting. My background in technology and humanities—studying philosophy and English literature—gives me a strong analytical and communication foundation, which I apply to commercial negotiations, risk management, and contract management strategies. I have an abiding interest in using technology to drive cost optimisation and efficiency. By providing support to Adapt IT’s business units that focus on proving SaaS and other IT related solutions in different industries and sectors, I ensure that the final contract aligns to the project’s objectives to maximize value and are fit for purpose. My approach is always to achieve the best possible outcome, taking all considerations into account—balancing legal, commercial, and operational factors to support business success. And to be able to work with business leaders and legal counsel when one needs to rely on the contract to resolve a dispute and support Adapt IT’s position. With a sharp eye for detail and strong writing skills, I am often called upon to refine correspondence, mitigating legal and commercial risks.
