About Stijn Hogervorst
After my Msc Public Administration and Msc Health Sciences, I started working as a researcher (PhD) at the VU department of Health Sciences. I started as a project leader on the implementation of a medication adherence intervention for type 2 diabetes patients in primary care (HOUVAST 2.0). After a two year project, I started working for the Make-It consortium; A multidisciplinary team of experts in the fields of implementation, medication adherence and primary care practice. Make-It guides living labs in which medication adherence interventions are implemented into the Dutch primary care system. My role was to support, give advice and do research in these living labs. Currently I am working as a policy advisor for the Federation of Medical Specialists.
