I have worked for the past decade in the New Zealand retirement industry in CEO and CFO roles. I am a New Zealand Chartered Accountant, qualified with PwC in Christchurch, with a career mostly in corporate roles heading finance teams. I was recently the CEO/CFO of Promisia Healthcare an NZX listed provider of aged residential care and retirement villages. I finished with PHL in order to focus on a healthcare finance consulting business, Peak Care Advisory. A lot of the consulting has been with one client and related party, Peak Living Limited Peak Living is promoting an innovative concept to provide an alternative for funding retirement village developments. Other clients have been located across the South Island. I was previously the CFO and then CEO with CFO responsibility for Radius Residential Care Limited, also an NZX listed provider of aged residential care and retirement villages. Between moving from the CFO to CEO role at Radius Care I was the CFO at Tamaki Health Care, New Zealand’s largest independent provider of Urgent Care, General Practice and Specialist services. I have been in C-suite roles for nearly two decades. Prior to Tamaki and Radius I was in a variety of industries, including FMCG, logistics, telecoms and financial services in NZ and abroad. I qualified as a CA while at PwC in Christchurch. Have experience in Sharia compliance. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from Lincoln University and a Master’s in Business Administration with distinction from Massey University. I was a Board Member of the progressive New Zealand Underwater Association and subsidiary NZUA Publishing which owns Dive Pacific magazine. NZUA is the leading not-for-profit organisation promoting and advocating safe and enjoyable underwater activities in a protected marine environment. I remain on the NZUA Publishing Board which owns Dive Pacific
