About Stuart Bramwell

Stuart Bramwell is an award-winning Composer and Violinist from the UK and former faculty at the world-class Yehudi Menuhin School. He holds a 1st-class Bachelor of Music degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a Master of Music with highest distinction from the Berklee College of Music. Stuart has previously assisted 9-time Grammy nominated Hollywood composer Mark Portmann (Mission: Impossible Fallout) and 2-time Emmy nominated composer Paul Chihara (prior tutor to James Horner and James Newton Howard). Stuart has been lucky enough to collaborate with many acclaimed artists. These include Nicola Benedetti, Tasmin Little, Jennifer Pike, Chad Hoopes, Michael Bochmann, Nitin Sawhney, Edward Gardner, Colin Currie, Tai Murray, Nicholas Collon, Steve Forman, Kristjan Jarvi, Tecwyn Evans, Chloe Hanslip, Michael Francis, Richard O’Neill, Osmo Vänskä, Stephen Barlow, Quynh Nguyen, Zoë Beyers, Ben Goldscheider, Christian Kluxen, Alpesh Chauhan and more. Stuart has also worked alongside Hollywood talent including Andy Serkis, Alice Eve and Robert Hardy. Being both a Composer and Violinist has enabled Stuart to work alongside premiere ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Art Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Brodsky Quartet, Maxwell Quartet and Red Note ensemble. This has also taken him to world-class venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Bridgewater Hall, Symphony Hall, Usher Hall, Perth Concert Hall, Royal Glasgow Concert Hall, Snape Maltings, His Majesty’s Theatre, Leeds Town Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Philharmonic Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, performing in the 2016 BBC Proms. In 2020, Stuart was the recipient of a coveted BAFTA scholarship and has since won several international 'Best Music' awards for his Film & TV scores. He has been a voting member for both BAFTA awards and BAFTA Scholarship applications and continues to support the work BAFTA does. Stuart has composed and arranged music for many major networks such as Classic FM, ITV, BBC, RTVE, RTVC. On YouTube, Stuart has amassed over subscribers, sharing his compositions and musical arrangements viewed by millions.
