About Stuart Burns

After 10 great years in various commercial roles at Heinz, London, I took a major decision to become Managing Director at Dura Composites, a fast growing, independent manufacturer of composite building products designed to solve problems for contractors that traditional materials cannot offer. Products include heavy duty fibreglass flooring, hand-railing and structures as well as state of the art timber composite or aluminium decking and cladding that offers a traditional wood appearance without the headaches. The growth is rapid and the long term potential is huge. I firmly believe that people are your biggest asset and that perception is reality. We have a major focus on providing an awesome culture amongst our staff. Where people act professionally, support one-another across departments and where people can be the best that they can be. We have gone from 10 people to more than 100 people in the last 10 years and have further growth plans in place that will provide a great challenge to our talented team. Given these ambitions, we have a constant focus on recruitment. We are always looking for people who want to be high achievers. Our growth will be achieved through a clear strategy and where plans are re-visited each quarter to ensure we follow through on our targets.
