About Stuart Frazier

I am passionate about business. When asked about my hobbies, my response is typically that business is my hobby. I have my father, a serial entrepreneur, to thank for the entrepreneurial bug that was ingrained in me at such an early age. I remember my father driving my brothers, sister and me around the airport on Sunday afternoons so that we could round up the abandoned luggage carts in an effort to collect the $.25 bounty for each one returned. In hind sight, we probably spent more money on gas driving around the airport than we earned, but I trace the starting point of my career back to that moment when I first realized the value of a quarter. There are not many jobs that I would consider above or beneath me. I enjoy rolling up my sleeves and doing what needs to be done in order to get the job done. I’ve experienced a lot of “things” in my life that range from cleaning the real estate office that I worked in throughout college, to developing a product aimed at protecting male runners against nipple chafing – just so that I could experience the process involved in product development. I’ve had my own unsuccessful startup that taught me why it’s important to fail often and fail fast so that you’re actively solving problems that are worth solving. I hosted a radio show that focused on technology and innovation in and around Austin that opened up the opportunity to engage other entrepreneurs about the love/hate relationship that they have with running a business. I’m currently the Director of Digital Media for the digital arm of the second-largest broadcast company in the nation where I continue to learn the importance of the people that make up an organization all collectively working towards a common goal. I look at every opportunity/challenge as a chance to grow, learn or sharpen the skills that I’ve picked up over my lifetime.
