About Stuart Goldsack

I am currently undergoing a double degree in Law/Business and Science at UNSW. This is providing me with a comprehensive understanding of both technical and legal aspects. From this, I have developed a keen interest in genetics and the relationship it has with the law, and am eager to explore opportunities in this exciting and evolving field. I am fascinated by the rapid advancements in genetics and the ethical, legal, and social issues that accompany these developments. This has the potential to have a positive impact on our society, improving the lives of many. However, without the law, this technology could be abused. As a highly motivated and dedicated professional, I bring a unique combination of leadership skills, academic achievement, and diverse experiences to the table. As a UNSW College House Committee Director, I have honed my ability to plan and execute successful events, foster community engagement, and manage budgets. I also enjoy being active at University, being both a LawPLUS Leader for incoming students and a Law Camp Leader. Further, I am a keen "mooter" having particpiated in a number of competitions over the past few years. Additionally, my 5 years as a leader in cadets have further developed my leadership skills, team-building abilities, and crisis management experience. I worked my way up through the structure of cadets going from cadet to section leader, platoon commander, and finally, company commander. I am proud to have been part of a highly successful team that has achieved a successful year of developing team-building skills and life experiences with young students. As a university ambassador, I have honed my networking skills and developed strong relationships with key stakeholders, including several societies at UNSW as well as faculty members. I am confident in my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and have a talent for building lasting relationships.
