Stuart Graham is a Consultant Urological Surgeon, and Head of the Stone Unit at Barts Health, the biggest trust in Europe. Stuart Graham offers world class stone surgery across London, Essex & Hertfordshire, both privately and for the NHS. Not only does he offer all types of stone operation, including Ureteroscopy, Flexible Ureterorenoscopy, PCNL, Supine PCNL & Ultra mini PCNL, he also offers metabolic testing and a comprehensive stone prevention service. Stuart also excels in laser surgery of the prostate (HoLEP), the Urolift device and general urology, including cancer work, scrotal & penile operating, and help with urinary tract infections, prostatitis and pelvic pain. Stuart Graham also has an interest in Statistical Process Control and Total Quality Management. He has been involved in projects looking at theatre late starts, theatre utilisation and in presently leading a project on process improvement for coding of outpatient procedures. Stuart performed the first HoLEP, or Holmium Laser Prostatectomy, at Whipps cross Hospital. He is now leading on the project to deliver this as a day case procedure. Stuart has published a book chapter, several articles and peer reviewed papers, and has presented at major conferences, both in the UK and internationally. He was part of the GOLIATH study group that helped GreenLight laser prostatectomy gain NICE approval. When he is not working, Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, and their dog, Henry. He reads extensively, enjoys time out with friends, and trips to the cinema. He loves travel, and has travelled throughout the world. Stuart has been honoured to appear on Channel 4’s ‘Food Unwrapped’ programme, as an expert on stone disease, and the effects of a protein rich diet.
