1989 to Maygay Machines I started in the gaming industry with Maygay. Under the guidance of S. Murray, R Howell and L Gregory, I started out as “Statistical Technician”. This involved the statistical profiling of new games. Within 1 year I was an active part of the games team and was influential in making games like “Discovery”, and the original “Monopoly”, these were flagship products which put Maygay on the map. From 1994 I became Game Design Manager with a team of Stats guys under me. to 2004 Astra, Game’s Design Manager Reporting directly to Ron Watts (Game Design director). I was involved in low tech games for 4 years, working on projects such as “Party Time Arena”, and I was involved in the early work on the Slotto product (Reel King). This is where I began to design 5 reel slot (random) games for the 1st time. 2004 to 2008 Games Media, Head of Design When I started Games-Media, there was only Global games doing AWP work for them and Channel 1 doing SWP. I helped set up the UK digital market. I employed 4 staff in total and together we were “Se7en Digital Gaming”, which was a sub division of Games-Media. Sadly however, this was quickly closed down when it was announced that super casinos were not going to happen in the UK. The company was then re-branded as part of Games-Media. Using the Juice cabinet, in my time there, I was responsible for their still highly successful AWP Roulette. From my 4 staff, the development dep’t became 30+ strong by the time I left in 2009. 2009 to Present Sharper By Design (Self Employed) From 2009, I have worked independently with many different partners including Gala (Through Psiclone), Inspired, Storm, Touchstone Games and Betcom Games (QPS). I have been responsible to date for many games currently on LBO boxes (B2 and B3) and for games with Gala on the GGP platform. Currently, I have 10 games live on LBO platforms. Need any help?
